Position Summary
We are currently seeking a Dietary Aide to join our dedicated Food Services team. In this
role, you’ll contribute to the daily well-being of our residents through the preparation and
delivery of meals in a caring, efficient, and respectful way.
Responsibilities

Assemble and prepare trays for resident meals
-
Assist with special diet preparation and food serving
-
Deliver and retrieve food carts
-
Clear trays and tables in dining areas
-
Operate dishwashing equipment
-
Prepare vegetables, sandwiches, salads, desserts, nourishments, etc.
-
Stock supplies, record temperatures, and maintain cleanliness and sanitation of
food areas
- Perform other related duties as assigned
What We’re Looking For
-
Reliability and a strong work ethic
-
Previous experience in institutional or healthcare food service is an asset
-
Interest or experience in working with older adults is an asset
-
Strong communication skills and ability to follow instructions
-
Ability to work well in a team environment
-
Comfortable with standing for long periods, working in varied temperatures, and
performing repetitive tasks
-
Able to lift up to 25 kg
-
Criminal Record Check required
Education Requirements

High School Diploma (Grade 12)
-
Food Safety Certification (or willingness to complete)
Work Schedule
Potential shifts include:
-
Early: 6:15 AM – 2:15 PM
-
Late: 11:00 AM – 7:00 PM
-
4HR: 7:00 AM – 11:00 AM
