Join our team as a Unit Clerk!
Under the direction of the Director of Care the Unit Clerk is responsible and accountable for a wide variety of clerical duties in support of care and services to promote the overall wellbeing of our residents. The Unit Clerk performs a range of clerical duties to update and organize information on the units and is responsible for efficient information flow and availability of information. The Unit Clerk also promotes positive experiences with residents, family members and guests, organizes work within the unit and interacts with other departments to ensure seamless resident care.
The following traits and qualifications are required:
Completion of Grad 12 or equivalent
Minimum of 1 year related experience
Previous experience working in healthcare environment preferred
General knowledge of office practices, processes, and procedures
Computer proficiency
Attention to detail
Strong sense of responsibility
Excellent organiztional, time managment and prioritization skills
Excellent verbal and written communciation skills
Good problem solving skills
