Parts Consultant
Dauphin Ford - Dauphin, MB

Are you passionate about customer service and have an interest in automotive parts? Dauphin Ford, proudly serving Dauphin and the Parkland area, is seeking a dedicated Parts Consultant to join our team!

As a Parts Consultant, you'll play a key role in supporting our service technicians, assisting retail customers, and ensuring smooth operations in our Parts Department. Whether you have prior parts experience or are mechanically inclined, we'd love to hear from you!

Key Responsibilities:

  • Sales & Customer Service: Assist customers at the parts counter, Certified Service Express, and service/collision desks.
  • Shipping & Receiving: Handle daily shipping, receiving, and inventory management.
  • Inventory Organization: Stock shelves and organize parts inventory daily to maintain an efficient workspace.
  • Administrative Duties: Prepare and manage records, including repair orders, parts invoices, purchase orders, and shipping/receiving documents, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Problem-Solving: Use sound judgment to identify and resolve issues effectively.
  • Customer Interaction: Provide excellent service to internal and external customers, including handling payments and addressing inquiries.
  • Team Collaboration: Foster harmony and cooperation with other departments to achieve company goals.
  • Workplace Maintenance: Keep the counter area clean and assist in maintaining a neat, organized department.
  • Continuous Learning: Stay up-to-date with departmental software and participate in all required training programs.

What We're Looking For:

  • Tech-Savvy: Strong computer skills and a willingness to learn new systems.
  • Team-Oriented: A collaborative attitude and ability to take direction from management.
  • Motivated & Independent: Self-driven to make decisions and complete tasks effectively.
  • Physical Capability: Comfortable lifting heavy objects as needed.
  • Qualifications: High school diploma (or equivalent) and a valid Class 5 driver's license.
  • Communication Skills: Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Experience: Previous parts experience or mechanical knowledge is an asset.
