Residence and Housing provides an on campus purposeful living and learning community that contributes to the academic and personal success for over 2600 students from Simon Fraser University and Fraser International College. Joining a high functioning, integrated department, in a senior role to help maintain and use the database to ensure maximum occupancy for our student residence community with a student-centered approach.
About the Role
This is a senior role in the housing admissions process the StarRez database to ensure efficiencies, workflows, and front facing user of the housing portal. The point person for the day-today maintenance and user configuration of StarRez: providing data, portal processes, dashboards and database functions for each department unit's functions; maintaining the integrity of the database custom fields and ensuring appropriate security user access. As well as training and user support.
The ideal candidate will have the following skills, qualities or core competencies needed to be successful in the role:
- Build relationships and collaborations across teams.
- Ability to balance the requests of the units with the knowledge of housing processes and StarRez database capabilities.
- Ability to plan and prioritize projects and organize work to meet deadlines.
