About the role

Part-Time Distillery Licensee Sales Representative (Downtown Toronto)

Elora Distilling Company is an award winning grain to glass distillery founded in picturesque Elora, Ontario in 2020. We ferment, distill, blend, and package on site a variety of premium spirits and liqueurs with an emphasis on using local ingredients whenever possible. In our 5 years, we have won multiple awards for the quality of our spirits and our contributions to local tourism and culture.  

Reporting to the Director of Operations, the role of Licensee Sales representative is to be an ambassador of our brand in the local market and beyond, responsible for building and maintaining relationships with our licensee accounts. Your goal will be to drive sales and grow our brand while providing exceptional service to our existing accounts.

The successful candidate will:

  • Have previous sales experience, preferably in the beverage or hospitality industry.
  • Stay informed about our products and industry trends.
  • Have an interest in spirits, cocktails, and knowledge of the distilling process.
  • Be a highly motivated individual who seeks personal growth and learning opportunities
  • Be flexible to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
  • Be energized by working in a culture of creativity, flexibility, and motivation
  • Have excellent communication skills with an ability to engage a diverse audience
  • Be able to work independently and manage time effectively.
  • Have a valid driver’s license and be Smart Serve certified

Responsibilities include:

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients to ensure their satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Identify and target potential licensee accounts; proactively seeking out new business opportunities that align with our identity as a premium brand.
  • Assist with planning and executing promotional events and tastings to increase brand visibility and sales.
  • Working closely with our LCBO sales agency to identify sales opportunities and provide support as necessary
  • Provide regular sales reports and market feedback to management.
