PepsiCo Foods Canada has current openings for a Part Time LASR Driver at our Distribution Centre in Scarborough, ON. Shift Details: Shifts start at 5am
Flexibility in scheduling and availbility on Saturdays are key requirements for this position Compensation: $28.70/hr
Responsibilities
- Conducting pre/post-trip truck inspections to ensure proper and safe handling conditions
- Involved in preparing daily route trucks with accurate product selection following pre-printed pick sheets
- Verifying order accuracy prior to delivery
- Safely transporting product to and from a specified location, in a pre-determined sequence
- Loading and unloading product to and from box trucks
- Completing required paperwork (Daily driver logs, Signature of Receipts, etc.)
- Verifying and retrieving all carton returns, product returns, and other return items
- Sort, tie and stack cardboard, as well as conduct physical inventories as required
- Interacting with customers, sales team, and warehouse personnel on a daily basis
- Ability to deliver business results by meeting and exceeding target goals
- Complying with all DOT and NSC regulations
Qualifications
- Valid G Class Driver’s License with a clean driver’s abstract
- Experience with a 5-ton vehicle considered an asset
- Good verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Ability to complete routes safely in all weather conditions
- Ability to handle high-pressure situations
