Bilingual Solutions Consultant (B2B) - Hybrid
As Bilingual Solutions Consultant (B2B), you will be responsible for acting as a printing and scanning subject matter expert as well as the technical expert who partners with the Sales, Planning teams, and prospective customers in order to find appropriate B2B Canon product and/or outsourced technology solutions. This position will understand customer needs and develop plans and proposals that others implement in the delivery of the project solution. This position will communicate complex technical concepts to Canada-wide customers.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify, establish, and maintain strategic relationships in target market(s), such as solution providers, Independent Software Vendors (ISVs), hardware vendors, suppliers of related products, industry associations and influencers.
- Act as a subject Matter Expert (SME) within the assigned product categories
- Deliver product training and product demonstrations to Canon and dealer Sales Representatives
- Drive sales by partnering with sales teams and recommending customized solutions based on customer requirements, including responses to RFPs
- Research the competitive landscape and identify how to differentiate Canon products, gaining a competitive advantage
- Provide post-purchase integration support to clients that are working with recently installed product, when needed
- Research and recommend Canon’s participation in key events (Roadshows, tradeshows, industry shows, etc); engage with attendees as a subject matter expert
- Liaise between Canon dealers and ITCG Lead Generation Marketing to define dealer marketing capabilities and requirements, increasing dealer sales through non-traditional marketing methods
To Succeed, You Will Need:
- Post-secondary education in a technical field
- Minimum of 3 years of related experience
- Extensive computer/technical skills are required to discuss, troubleshoot, and analyze customer workflow solutions for printers/scanners using Mac and PC
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to assess customer and internal needs, identify multiple perspectives and provide an appropriate solution
- Solid time and project management skills
- Bilingual French/English

- This position offers a Hybrid work schedule. You will be required to be in the office Mondays and Wednesdays each week, with the ability to work from home for the remainder of the week (subject to specific business needs requiring office attendance).
