The Opportunity
The Settlement Services Unit of the Credential Recognition Services Branch is seeking a strategic, forward-thinking leader to join our team as the Manager of Settlement Services. Reporting to the Director of Settlement Services, you will play a pivotal role in leading and shaping the contract management of settlement services and program delivery efforts of the credential recognition grant.
As the Manager of Settlement Services, you will be responsible for:
Leadership and Team Management

Align strategic vision with day-to-day operational demands, build strong relationships across diverse stakeholder groups, and communicate service changes to staff, clients and stakeholders.

Lead a team of program officers who are responsible for managing agreements and relationships with settlement service providers and delivering the credential recognition grant to clients.

Manage employee performance and foster talent development with a focus on acquiring, retaining, and growing team capabilities.

Serve as a point of contact for policy clarification and support staff in navigating complex or unique client and stakeholder situations.
Strategic Planning, Problem-Solving and Risk Management
-
Anticipate and analyze opportunities and challenges while providing oversight for strategic initiatives that affect settlement services in Saskatchewan.

Identify operational risks and client service issues and collaborate with other leaders to address gaps or provide viable solutions for resolution.

Support issue escalation processes by gathering information, drafting responses, and recommending actionable solutions.
Operational Oversight and Supervision
-
Manage program budgets, ensuring financial sustainability and alignment with strategic objectives.

Allocate resources across the team to meet client and stakeholder demand while optimizing operational capacity.

Monitor and analyze service delivery data to evaluate effectiveness and recommend improvements.

Typically, the knowledge required for this position would be attained through the completion of a degree in public administration, business administration, social science, or a related discipline, combined with job-related experience. An equivalent combination of education and experience will also be considered.
