At Life Collective Counselling , we’re a specialty group practice nestled in South Edmonton, dedicated to supporting people through the complex, beautiful, and messy parts of being in relationship—with others and with themselves. We focus on relationship and sex therapy , offering support to individuals and couples navigating challenges related to intimacy, connection, trauma, and sexual health.

Who We're Looking For:
We’re building a team of client-centred, sex-positive, trauma-informed therapists who bring curiosity, compassion, and research-based approaches to their practice. If you’re someone who is passionate about healthy relationships, emotional healing, sexual wellness, and holistic care, we’d love to hear from you.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct individual and couples therapy sessions focusing on relationship dynamics and sexual health.
- Assess clients' needs and develop tailored treatment plans to address specific concerns.
- Utilize evidence-based therapeutic techniques to facilitate healing and growth.
- Provide a safe and supportive environment for clients to explore sensitive topics.
- Maintain accurate records of client progress and treatment outcomes.
- Collaborate with other professionals as needed to ensure comprehensive care.
What You Bring:
- Registration (or eligibility) with CAP, ACSW, or CCPA
- A Master’s degree in counselling, psychology, or social work
- Some experience working as a registered or provisional therapist
- A passion for working with individuals, couples, and issues related to sexuality and relationships
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team setting
- Comfort discussing topics related to sex, intimacy, trauma, and identity
What Set You Apart:
- Training in couples therapy (e.g., Gottman Level 1 or 2 , EFT externship )
- Experience or certification in trauma modalities (e.g., EMDR , Somatic Experiencing )
- Interest in working with couples and relational dynamics
- Interest in working with sexual trauma, sex addiction, or sexual disorders
- Interested in working with LGBTQIA2S+ communities
- Experience with formal psychological assessments (an asset, not required)

Our counselling work ranges from couple sexual intimacy concerns, erectile dysfunction, female sexual concerns, sexual trauma/abuse, sexual disorders & sex addictions.
Our therapists have also been trained in Sex Therapy and research based modalities such as Gottman and Emotionally Focused Couples Therapy to work with couples with relationships concerns --conflict, premarital counselling, couples counselling, communication, money, parenting, emotional or sexual infidelity & more."
