SENIOR TAX ANALYST
Pay: Starting from $65,000/year
Smythe LLP is seeking a highly motivated and team-oriented Senior Tax Analyst with solid tax experience to join our growing practice in our downtown Vancouver office.

The Opportunity
As part of our 20-member Tax Group, you will work directly with clients, managers and partners to deliver tax and advisory services as a general practitioner. The ideal candidate will be a Senior Tax Analyst with a minimum of two to three years of experience in public practice.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and review personal, trust, partnership and corporate tax returns
- Perform tax research and prepare technical memos and letters
- Assist clients with CRA audits and disputes
- Provide exceptional service to our clients
- Develop and apply technical skills by remaining up to date on new tax legislation and case law
- Participate in, and contribute to, the attainment of team objectives.
Requirements
- Professional accounting designation with experience in Canadian tax
- Proven abilities in the areas of personal and corporate tax compliance
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work in teams and individually
- A desire to learn and adapt in a challenging environment
