S2526-08 Nutrition Program Worker - North Star Elementary School
We are seeking a part-time (0.4615 fte) Nutrition Program Worker for the 2025-2026 school year. The assignment has a commitment of 3.0 hours per day and involves providing food services and maintaining the school cafeteria as a safe and sanitary environment under the direct supervision of the School Administration.
North Star Elementary School is located in the City of Cold Lake with approximately 430 students in Kindergarten to Grade 6. Walk in the doors of North Star Elementary School and you will feel the difference! The school is bright and spacious, children are engaged, happy and busy, the staff are energetic and friendly.
Preference will be given to applicants who have**:**
- Minimum of Grade 12, preferably a Diploma, Certificate or Degree in the related field of culinary or food preparation
- Valid certification in Food Safety Course, Alberta Health Services
- Experience as a Cafeteria Worker, Food Handler or Chef
- Knowledge and understanding of school and school board policies, compliance with regulations and appropriate legislation
- Proven ability to prioritize task and carry out instructions necessary to complete assignments
