Qualifications:
Essential
- Experience with timekeeping in a 24/7 environment for both full time and part time employees
- Experience processing pay and benefits for both full time and part time employees
- Experience interpreting policies and procedures related to pay and benefits
- Ability to organize and prioritize work and meet deadlines while maintaining a high degree of accuracy
- Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
- Strong interpersonal communication skills
- Effective verbal communication skills
- Effective written communication skills
- Ability to contribute to a respectful workplace
- Ability to maintain confidentiality
- Ability to work independently
Desired
- Experience working with SAP or similar payroll software
Duties:
Reporting to the Manager Financial Services, the incumbent is responsible for processing and maintaining pay in accordance with the Government Employees Master Agreement and Component Agreements for regular, term and casual employees in a 24/7 shift environment for approximately 400 staff. The incumbent provides interpretation of GEMA and completes tasks with a high degree of accuracy and timeliness.
