Trail Tire Supply is a family-owned regional tire wholesaler based in Western Canada. We are rapidly growing and are currently seeking a talented and dedicated Key Account Manager to join our team in Manitoba.
As a Key Account Manager, you will play a crucial role in driving sales and expanding our customer base within the tire industry in Manitoba. You will be responsible for establishing and maintaining relationships with tire shops, promoting our brands, supporting their inventory and tire sales, and offering our approved supplier programs for oil, shop supplies, health and safety, and financing. This position requires proactive sales calls, building partnerships, and providing excellent customer service.
Responsibilities:
- Identify and target potential tire shops to increase sales and expand our customer base in Manitoba
- Conduct sales calls and meetings with tire shop owners and managers to present our products, brands, and value propositions
- Actively promote and sell our Trail Tire and Tiremotive brands, ensuring tire shops are aware of their benefits and advantages
- Support tire shops with their inventory needs, providing recommendations and assistance in managing stock levels
- Collaborate with tire shops to optimize tire sales strategies, ensuring maximum profitability and customer satisfaction
- Introduce and explain our approved supplier programs for oil, shop supplies, health and safety, and financing, encouraging tire shops to participate
- Regularly visit tire shops throughout Manitoba, building relationships and addressing any concerns or issues
- Collaborate with internal teams, including sales, marketing, and operations, to ensure seamless service delivery and customer satisfaction
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in sales, account management, or business development within the tire industry is highly desirable
- Strong knowledge of the Manitoba tire market
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders
- Self-motivated and results-oriented, with a proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
- Excellent negotiation and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively promote our brands and value propositions
- Proficient in utilizing CRM systems and sales software for managing customer relationships and tracking sales activities
- Ability to travel extensively throughout Manitoba visiting tire shops and attending industry events as required
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
