Role Description
The Account Executive will report to our Sales Manager and support our sales team in growing and maintaining our client base primarily within the Greater Toronto Area, with opportunity for coverage expansion over Canada. This role requires an experienced, self-motivated sales professional who will proactively identify and pursue sales leads that translate into positive business results. If you are a goal-oriented, driven and hungry Sales Executive who is ready to get out there and get the job done, we are looking for you!
Work Location: Remote (Must be located in Ontario)
Compensation: Multiple pay structure and competitive commission options available
Responsibilities
• Responsible for building and sustaining WaveroomTV relationships with Local Advertisers and Agencies.
• Book and lead client meetings as required to better understand client needs.
• Develop a strong understanding of WaveroomTV’s brand, services, and competitive edge.
• Identify, research, and proactively engage new business opportunities both locally and provincially.
• Consistently develop sales strategies to expand reach.
• Act as a direct point of contact for incoming business inquiries and meet with potential clients to understand objectives and find innovative solutions.
• Manage all aspects of the sales cycle from lead generation through to contract negotiation and close.
• Negotiate business contracts, driven to meet client objectives and exceed expectations.
• Review, analyze, and report on monthly sales targets and revenues.
• Continuously perform geographic-specific market analysis to ensure sales offerings are competitive within the industry.
• Work collaboratively with WaveroomTV Management to develop new business leads and service offerings.
Qualifications
• Must Have 3-5+ years of experience in digital sales
• High-level understanding and keen interest in media and advertising trends/landscapes..
• Proficient in social media platforms including Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, and YouTube.
• Ability to interface with clients both remotely and face-to-face.
• Strong interpersonal, verbal/written communication, and leadership skills
• Excellent time management, organization, quantitative, and problem-solving skills.
• High level of self-motivation, initiative, and the ability to work independently.
• Proactive disposition towards client relationships.
