Scope of the Position:
Responsible for efficient inventory planning (and related processes), to ensure availability of goods as a key competitive advantage, and to achieve operational targets. Responsible for maintaining inventory levels and assortment.
Major Responsibilities:
- Analyzing and maintaining product assortment, inventory, and safety stock levels, forecast accuracy, transfer frequency, and lead times.
- Review, assess, and report on supply and demand variability, and Identify opportunities to manage and mitigate risk.
- Update Parameters (or responsible for parameter updates) product and kit setup.
- Take Preventive measures to avoid stock outs and missed sales.
- Perform alternate products sources analysis.
- Review various reports for exceptional usage, expiring thresholds, lead times and frozen reasons.
- Assist on inbound shipment execution and allocation plans for products, ensuring optimal inventory deployment across branches.
- Perform timely vendor pricing updates in ERP.
- Manage Obsolescence, stock rebalancing.
- Manage Vendor returns/stock rotation.
- Ensure Data integrity (master data maintenance).
Education & Training:
- High school completion required.
- Post-secondary diploma or degree preferred (ex – inventory management).
- Proficient in Microsoft Office programs is required.
- Previous experience using ERP systems.
Experience:
- Minimum 4 years’ experience in Inventory Control, Purchasing or Warehouse logistics.
