About the Role
The Member Service Representative (MSR) II is a member of the Financial Services team and processes a full range of business and personal member transactions to help LDCU members meet their financial goals. The MSR II is responsible for a range of duties including:
- New membership and account opening
- Processing registered and term deposit transactions
- Advising members on appropriate term and registered investment products and services for their needs and investment goals
- Identifying member needs and recommending appropriate products and services
- ATM balancing and treasury functions
- Resolving routine member concerns and complaints in accordance with our service standards and escalate issues where appropriate
- Making referrals to other areas of the Credit Union and subsidiaries as required
About the Candidate
The ideal candidate will have at least 18 months of customer financial services experience, preferably in the Credit Union system with experience related to non-cash related products and transactions such as account opening and closing procedures and registered product transactions. Additional experience performing general clerical and administrative office functions are an asset. They are attentive to detail, have the ability to recognize opportunities and communicate options effectively, and approach all situations with a positive, professional outlook. An ability to develop great working relationships with others and a dedication to providing exceptional service is essential.
This is a full-time position and will commence as soon as possible. The salary grade is that of Group 2 on the union salary scale. If you are interested in this opportunity, please submit a covering letter and resume outlining your qualifications.
