Position Overview
Calian Learning Solutions is seeking a Senior MOC Instructor – Ammunition to to join our team at CFB Borden for a short-term contract.

Responsibilities
- The MOI will be responsive to the instructions set out by the Ammunition Technician (AT) Rank Qualification Corporal (RQ Cpl) Course Director (CD) Captain Timothy Saunders/ Sergeant Iain MacPherson, the Rank Qualification Private (RQ Pte) CD MCpl Adrian Zapata, the Training WO, Sergeant Kiefer Fournier, or their designates
- The MOI will coordinate their activities with other Explosives Division (X Div) instructors on the course content delivery for the AT RQ Pte and AT RQ Cpl Courses
- The MOI will organize, review and become familiar with the Training Plan and Lesson Plan IOT deliver lessons to the aforementioned courses IAW the various Training Plans, direction and advice from the RQ Pte and Cpl CDs, the Training WO, and other X Div Instructors
- The MOI will assist X Div instructors with the delivery of their respective lessons as assigned during the instructor allocation meeting.
- Provide the CDs with written or verbal updates on course delivery progress on a weekly basis and as requested by the CDs
- Complete corresponding administration (ie. Updating the marks tracker, etc) as outlined by the CDs.
- The MOI shall use DND computer and information technology systems for the conduct of synchronous activities. Such systems include, but are not limited to, MS Outlook, MS Teams, and conference calls
- The MOI shall attend an initial orientation session to be scheduled by the ATO CD or the Trg WO;
- Completion of the AT RQ WO (code ALIH) or AT QL6A (code ACNA) is considered a strong asset for the MOI to possess.
Mandatory Requirements:
- Must have a minimum of 2 years experience instructing in the content area
- Must have a minimum of 5 years experience working (not as an instructor) in the content area
- Must hold a valid First Aid certification
- Must be able to obtain a Federal Government of Canada Security Clearance
