Job Summary

The Rental Technician will be responsible for daily operations of the Rental shop, fitting each guest properly for equipment and performing daily cash outs. This team is customer focused and plays a key role in creating a memorable experience for our guests.

This is a part-time position from June to September

Essential Job Functions

  • Maintaining and preparing all equipment rentals following all applicable safety protocol
  • Ensuring guests accurately complete rental forms
  • Ensuring the proper fit of rental equipment for the guest’s height/weight and skill level
  • Checking rental equipment for damage when returned
  • Performing and completing safety checklists on bike rentals
  • Operating the POS system for rental sales
  • Maintaining cleanliness of shop
  • Performing daily cash outs

Required Qualifications and Abilities

  • Must be eligible to work in Canada
  • Must be able to provide proof of SIN - either card or document provided by the Canadian government
  • Excellent customer service and sales skills
  • Experience handling cash
  • Fluent in English, multiple languages are considered an asset
  • Team oriented with a desire to make a contribution
  • Ability to work alone with minimal supervision
  • General rental knowledge, sizing, product knowledge, etc.
  • Thrives in a fast-paced environment
  • Good organizational, time management and communication skills
