Profile

The Project Manager will work directly with the Engineering team and liaise with staff from all internal departments including Procurement, Programs, Customer service, Production, Technical Support, Spares, Quality, Sales, Marketing, and Finance. The Project Manager will also interact with customers and suppliers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide Project Management leadership.
  • Manage multiple projects dealing with changes to the basic aircraft, options, and in-service requests.
  • Identify and communicate risks and roadblock.
  • Be responsible for leading your projects from launch to successful Implementation in Production &/or In -service solution.
  • Provide Project leadership for resolution of issues & coordinate multi-discipline activities.
  • Manage cross functional projects within schedule, budget, and quality to support aftermarket activities and new customers.
  • Project manage aerospace certification requirements for new programs.
  • Chair, coordinate and support technical (PDR, CDR) and Management reviews.
  • Manage and develop strong functional, supplier and partner relationships.
  • Responsible for creation and on-going review of Estimates vs Actuals along with capacity planning for your Projects in conjunction with Engineering Management until Project completion.
  • Evaluate, schedule, and budget any required program.
  • Ensure quality and risk management, as well as governance and team coordination of the programs to comply with company strategy and targets.
  • Apply project management, and appropriate business practices in managing internal and external work enabling satisfaction of project outcomes.
  • Support Governance requirements and ongoing update of systems to ensure project details are current and clear.
  • Participate in intra-company coordination supporting the efficient execution of work activities.
  • Ensure application of professional standards and company processes are followed in accomplishing work activities.
  • Support Project Management Initiatives, involvement in process evolution and alignment with new tools and business requirements.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in Project & Change Management with minimum of 8 Years of experience, within a multi-function, multi-level organizational environment.
  • Project Management experience in an Aerospace related environment is considered an asset.
  • Experience in new aerospace certification programs.
  • Previous experience with managing multiple projects in a fast-paced work environment.

Skills

  • Demonstrated strong negotiation skills.
  • Excellent ability to communicate a strategy using PowerPoint and to work with Excel and MS-Project.
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing.
  • Demonstrated interpersonal skills and ability to build relationships and work effectively with people at all organizational levels.
  • You have excellent project management, communication, organizational, customer service and time management skills, foresight, accuracy and commitment to objectives and responsibilities.
  • You have the ability to work as part of a team or individually.
  • Candidate must be self-motivated, autonomous and enthusiastic, possess excellent written and verbal communications and human relations skills and be willing to travel.
