Job Title: Integrations Technician

Job Description:
As an Integrations Technician at Coastal Entrance Solutions, you will play a hands-on role in the installation, integration, and troubleshooting of access control, CCTV, and structured cabling systems. Working across construction sites and existing buildings, you will be part of a team delivering high-quality electronic security and networking solutions to commercial and multi-unit residential clients. This position is ideal for someone who is mechanically inclined, eager to learn, and enjoys working in a fast-paced, goal-oriented environment.
Key Responsibilities:
System Installation and Integration:
- Install and configure access control and CCTV systems including electric strikes, door controllers, card readers, power supplies, and alarm devices.
- Pull and terminate low-voltage cabling (Ethernet, fiber) and install related infrastructure.
- Perform network-related tasks such as switch installation, patching, and UPS setup.
- Test and troubleshoot system components to ensure proper functionality.
On-Site Execution:
- Follow detailed work instructions, floor plans, and wiring diagrams.
- Ensure work is completed efficiently, safely, and in line with company quality standards.
- Maintain a clean and organized job site and follow all safety protocols and site-specific requirements.
Collaboration and Communication:
- Work under the guidance of a Lead Technician or Project Manager.
- Communicate effectively with team members to support smooth project execution.
- Maintain professional conduct with customers, contractors, and site personnel.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in access control, CCTV, or structured cabling is preferred but not required; training will be provided.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and comfort working with tools and electronics.
- Ability to read construction drawings and wiring schematics is an asset.
- Comfortable working on ladders, lifts, and in various construction environments.
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record required.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00-$30.00 per hour
