Job Title: Integrations Technician
Location: Coastal Entrance Solutions

Job Description:
As an Integrations Technician at Coastal Entrance Solutions, you will play a hands-on role in the installation, integration, and troubleshooting of access control, CCTV, and structured cabling systems. Working across construction sites and existing buildings, you will be part of a team delivering high-quality electronic security and networking solutions to commercial and multi-unit residential clients. This position is ideal for someone who is mechanically inclined, eager to learn, and enjoys working in a fast-paced, goal-oriented environment.

Key Responsibilities:

System Installation and Integration:

  • Install and configure access control and CCTV systems including electric strikes, door controllers, card readers, power supplies, and alarm devices.
  • Pull and terminate low-voltage cabling (Ethernet, fiber) and install related infrastructure.
  • Perform network-related tasks such as switch installation, patching, and UPS setup.
  • Test and troubleshoot system components to ensure proper functionality.

On-Site Execution:

  • Follow detailed work instructions, floor plans, and wiring diagrams.
  • Ensure work is completed efficiently, safely, and in line with company quality standards.
  • Maintain a clean and organized job site and follow all safety protocols and site-specific requirements.

Collaboration and Communication:

  • Work under the guidance of a Lead Technician or Project Manager.
  • Communicate effectively with team members to support smooth project execution.
  • Maintain professional conduct with customers, contractors, and site personnel.

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in access control, CCTV, or structured cabling is preferred but not required; training will be provided.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and comfort working with tools and electronics.
  • Ability to read construction drawings and wiring schematics is an asset.
  • Comfortable working on ladders, lifts, and in various construction environments.
  • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record required.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00-$30.00 per hour
