Major Responsibilities:
- Reports directly to the Mix plant Supervisor of Griffith Foods on an ongoing basis and communicates all relevant matters pertaining to Bagging.
- Organizes and coordinates the workflow between the Bagging and all other departments.
- Supervises the manufacture of blended products to verify conformance to specifications.
- Ensures Pkg material are issued on a timely manner and Material traceability processes are maintained.
- Studies and executes production schedules. Prioritizes and assigns work to meet production schedules and commitments to customers.
- Effectively utilizes company and people resources to complete assigned work.
- Analyses and resolves work problems or assists workers in solving work problems.
- Maintains time, production, quality, safety and other business records.
- Ensures maintains high quality standards, address and document quality issues, investigate using Corrective Action Report and follow up on remedial and corrective actions.
- Develops, recommends, and implements measures to improve manufacturing and support processes, practices, production methods, equipment performance, and quality of product.
- Implements approved changes.
- Participates actively in related RCAs and suggests both corrective and preventative actions.
- Maintains a proper skill matrix in bagging department to improve performance.
- Communicates effectively verbally and in writing.
- Interfaces with others in the organization to ensure commitments to customers are met.
- Coordinates departmental work activities with Plant Management, Materials Management, Scheduling, Quality, Maintenance, Engineering and other shifts.
- Interprets company policies to workers and enforces safety and GMP regulations.
- Propose process change and projects to improve performance.
- Works with company BMS procedures and work instructions.
- Understands and complies with all company policies and procedures.
- Train employees on all related processes and SOPs.
- Other duties as assigned.

What Will You Bring?
- College diploma in a specialized training in a recognized technical program.
- 5 years of work experience in a similar manufacturing environment.
- A self-starter with excellent computer, communication, and problem-solving skills, and the ability to work under pressure.
- Strong interpersonal skills.
This is a safety sensitive position, and it requires the use of an N9 NIOSH-approved fitted respirator (“N95”) or an approved alternative. Successful candidates will be required to go through appropriate fit-testing and will be required to wear an N95 while performing their duties.
