Responsibilities:
The Project Manager will oversee project delivery from concept to implementation, ensuring alignment with schedule, budget, and regulatory expectations. Daily activities include:
- Develop and maintain detailed project schedules across all phases using tools like Primavera or MS Project.
- Track costs, forecast expenditures, and ensure alignment with approved budgets.
- Lead the scoping sessions to define engineering deliverables
- Liaise with external suppliers and internal stakeholders including OPG representatives.
- Run progress, status update, and risk review meetings with cross-functional teams.
Requirement:
- Nuclear industry experience with OPG or Bruce Power (BP) clearance
- Proven project management experience in detailed engineering projects (e.g., chemical systems, balance of plant, core equipment, or new component integration)
- Strong technical background in one or more disciplines: Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, Instrumentation & Control (I&C)
- Experience managing multi-disciplinary teams and coordinating with vendors
- Excellent communication and reporting skills
