Position Function:
The Chef de Partie is responsible for assisting the Sous Chef and Executive Chef in overseeing kitchen operations, ensuring high-quality food preparation, and maintaining kitchen sanitation standards

Duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Assist the Sous Chef and Executive Chef in managing daily kitchen operations, including food preparation, cooking, and plating.
- Ensure the quality and presentation of all dishes leaving the kitchen meet the restaurant's standards.
- Assist in training and developing kitchen staff, providing guidance and feedback to improve performance and maintain high culinary standards.
- Participate in menu development, costing, and inventory management.
- Support the implementation of health and safety regulations and ensure compliance with local and state regulations.
Qualifications and Experience
- Must be legally eligible to work in Canada.
- Must have reliable transportation to and from work.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in fast-paced kitchens.
- A degree or diploma in culinary arts, skills, or management.
- Chef's certificate-apprenticeship program-culinary training.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Food Handling Certificate.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Extensive knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and kitchen management.
- Ability to train and develop staff and maintain high culinary standards.
