Job Description

  • Greet and assist customers in a friendly and professional manner.

  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the cafe area, including dining spaces and equipment.

  • Restock supplies, such as condiments, napkins, and utensils, to ensure the cafe runs smoothly.

  • Ensure food safety and sanitation standards are met in accordance with Sodexo policies.

  • Assist with setting up, replenishing, and closing down the cafe service areas.

  • Support the team with other tasks as needed to maintain efficient operations.

  • Monitor and address customer feedback to ensure satisfaction.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Previous food service or customer service experience is an advantage.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively.
  • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation guidelines is a plus.
  • Must be able to work flexible hours

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to stand for extended periods of time.

  • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds.

  • Ability to perform repetitive tasks and manual labor as required.

You will be responsible for supervising and ensuring that an exceptional level of service is achieved for all clients by focusing on employee training, performance management and leadership.

You will be asked to guide staff in a productive and efficient manner by ensuring service delivery and event planning standards are met. Ensure that employees comply with all company and local government rules, policies and regulations regarding health safety, food safety and fire and hazard safety. You will also have to assist with inventory management and any other related duties that may be requested.
