HORIZON MENNONITE ALTERNATIVE PROGRAM (HMAP)

The Horizon Mennonite Alternative Program (HMAP) is a grade 7 to 12 school located in Vauxhall, Alberta. We have a staff of 6 that provide a range of programming to meet the needs of all learners.

Temporary Administrative Assistant –approx. 32 hours/week

Hours of work - Monday – Thursday 8:00 a.m. – 3:30 p.m. & Friday 8:00 a.m. – 12:30 p.m.

The administrative assistant position requires constant attention to detail, strong organizational and interpersonal skills and the ability to respond to a multitude of tasks. Computer skills are essential as well as accounts payable and receivable skills.

This temporary position commences August 26, 2025, and concludes December 18, 2025, or upon the return of the incumbent, whichever should occur first.

Horizon School Division No. 205 operates 43 schools across east central Saskatchewan, with our central office in Humboldt. Horizon spans a geographic area of approximately 30,970 square kilometers, from Bulyea in the south, Wakaw in the north, Foam Lake in the east, and Viscount in the west. The division is divided into 14 Subdivisions for purposes of representation on the Board of Education.
