About the role
Hank’s Auto Wreckers is looking to fill a position across multiple departments for Part Sales / Dispatching / Inventory Control.
We are looking for a person with a strong interest in Sales & Customer Service and skills in Inventory Control, preferably with automotive, sales, or automotive claims (appraisal/adjuster) experience.
After a brief period of training as a parts puller to better understand the company and industry, the suitable candidate would be cross trained across Sales, Dispatching, and Inventory Departments.
Monday to Friday, 8am to 5pm, salary to be negotiated, benefit program after 3 months.
Parts Sales Desk Role will include but not limited to the following:
· Quoting, buying, and selling parts in person, over the phone and by email
· Processing Invoices and payment by Cash, Debit and Credit Cards
· Use of specific industry procurement software (training provided)
Dispatching Role may include but not limited to the following:
· Prioritizing and delegating work orders from the sales team through our integrated software to those capable of handling the request
· Once invoiced, the Dispatcher is responsible for sorting and scheduling the invoices into their respective delivery runs on our routing software platform
· Manage employee tasks and use software to keep track of work orders as they progress from the time of sale to the end delivery
· Assisting in loading trucks, packaging parcels for couriers, and collecting parts that have been processed for customers who have arrived to pick them up.
Inventory Role may include but not limited to the following:
· Inventory Car Parts and accessories
· Digitally manage vehicle and individual part files
· Update description and pictures of inventory to reflect their condition
· Track, Monitor and resolve inventory discrepancies.
· Conduct quality control checks
· Order materials as needed
· Label incoming products and audit product locations for accurate labelling
Our customer base is mostly wholesale in nature which includes collision repair shops, mechanical shops, and other auto recycling yards (a large portion of our business includes reciprocal trade from many vendors across Ontario) and to a lesser but equally important extent we service the general retail public over the phone and in person at the front sales desk.
Candidate must have the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, have strong written and oral communication skills, strong office related computer skills, reliable transportation to work and the ability to work consistently Monday to Friday.
