What You Will Do In this role, you can expect to...

The Trade Spend Analyst will create consistency and continuity of trade spend dollars and assist the Corporate Consumer Sales division on all aspects of Trade Spend Management.

  • Manage and process all aspects of pricing, trade deductions, cheques, and monthly report creation
  • Track and monitor financial status of assigned accounts
  • Work closely with Business Development Managers to review ensure accuracy of accruals
  • Ensure customer specific programs are compliant to Corporate and Trade Spend policies
  • Perform variance analysis and forecast accruals for all assigned accounts
  • Solve customer specific financial concerns of the Account Managers
  • Be a liaison between sales and other financial departments

What You Will Bring A University Business Finance degree or equivalent education/experience.

  • Deduction Management – 1-3 years’ experience.
  • Enrolled in/pursuing CPA designation.
  • SAP, BW, AC Nielsen, Market Track and Aimia considered an asset
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Quick learner and self-motivated with the ability to handle changing priorities
  • Detail oriented with strong problem solving skills
  • Excellent interpersonal, presentation and relationship-building skills
