We're on the hunt for a dynamic Team Lead to guide our team from day-to-day operations to the implementation of new features for AMA’s hybrid cloud infrastructure. You've transitioned from on-premises to cloud in your career and know what it takes to manage a hybrid cloud environment. We need someone who’s super organized and values the power of coaching. How You’ll Make an Impact

  • Reporting to the Manager, IT Infrastructure, you’ll be accountable for a team of technology analysts who are responsible for day-to-day operational activity including but not limited to supporting, maintaining and enhancing on-premises and cloud infrastructure.

  • Annually, you'll participate in strategic planning and work with your team to develop and execute tactical plans that add sustainable value to the business.

  • Guide junior team members and mentor senior team members in designing and implementing operational standards, tools, and guardrails.

  • Perform people management duties such as mentoring, career development, and performance reviews.

  • You'll foster an environment where learning is constant, collaboration is the norm, sharing is key, and mistakes are lessons and not failures.

  • Recommend areas for further improvement in your team’s portfolio. This can include operational processes and technology for AMA’s on-premises and cloud environments.

  • You’ll evaluate design and implement new products, tools and technology that could address both known and unknown organizational needs.

  • You’ll serve as the ultimate escalation point for problems within your respective area, driving problem resolution.

What You Bring to the Table

  • You have a university degree or technical school diploma in Information Technology or Computer Science.

  • You have at least 2 years experience leading projects and teams, juggling multiple priorities.

  • You have at least 2 years of technical leadership experience as a senior infrastructure subject matter expert.

  • You have at least 6 years of progressive hands-on infrastructure experience for on-premises and cloud technologies.

  • You know how to build strong business relationships with vendors and internal customers.

  • Experience with the following technologies will help you hit the ground running: AWS, Azure, VMware, Microsoft Hyper-V, Microsoft Windows Server & Clustering technologies, NetApp.

  • Understanding of the following technologies and concepts: networking, DNS, Microsoft Active Directory, Microsoft Entra ID, Microsoft SQL Server, Monitoring and Observability, DevOps, and Agile concepts.

NICE TO HAVE:

  • Certified AWS Solutions Architect Associate.
  • Experience with FinOps.
  • Proficient with scripting languages and infrastructure as code.
