About the role

Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Location: GTA-Onsite

Role Overview As CEO, you will assume full ownership of our clients strategic direction, operational execution, team leadership, and market expansion. You will inherit a respected brand and be charged with revitalizing its presence in a changing and highly competitive landscape.

This is a rare opportunity to take a purpose-driven agency to its next level of growth, relevance, and impact. Transition Plan: In the first six months, you’ll work in close partnership with the Founder & Executive Chair to align on key priorities, stakeholders, and internal dynamics. Thereafter, you’ll take the reins with full autonomy to lead the agency into its future.

Key Responsibilities Leadership & Vision

  • Set and communicate a compelling strategic direction aligned with our clients mission and market needs
  • Mentor and scale a high-performing, cross-functional team
  • Serve as a cultural beacon internally and a thought leader externally

Business Growth & Diversification

  • Identify and activate new revenue streams and service offerings
  • Expand business in key verticals: CPG, financial services, telecom, government, and retail
  • Build out a top-tier business development and client success function
  • Define and track KPIs tied to growth, client retention, and brand influence

Client & Industry Relationships

  • Represent our client at the highest levels with clients, industry forums, and stakeholders
  • Deepen partnerships with existing clients and unlock new strategic opportunities
  • Position our client as a national thought leader through speaking engagements, media presence, and events

Operational Excellence

  • Optimize internal systems and workflows for project delivery and client success
  • Oversee performance reporting and operational accountability across all functions
  • Implement metrics-based management through OKRs, dashboards, and scorecards

Team & Culture Development

  • Foster a values-driven, inclusive, and high-accountability culture
  • Lead efforts to attract, develop, and retain top creative and strategic talent

Ideal Candidate Profile Required Qualifications

  • 10+ years of senior leadership experience in advertising,marketing, consulting, agency, or DEI-focused organizations
  • Proven record of scaling or revitalizing businesses or departments
  • Strong client relationship management and strategic planning expertise
  • Deep understanding of multicultural marketing, inclusive communications, or brand storytelling
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with operational discipline
  • High emotional intelligence and ability to inspire diverse teams

Preferred Attributes

  • Experience in mid-sized marketing or creative agency environments
  • Well-established network in sectors such as CPG, finance, government, and telecom
  • Track record of navigating organizational transformation
