The Opportunity

Employment Type:

Permanent Full Time 1.0 FTE Mcleod (North Edmonton near Londonderry Mall)

Hours of Work:

Tuesday to Saturday 1500-2300 hrs

Wages:

$25.87-$28.90

Participation in recreation outings preferred.

  • You must have a completion of a Disability Studies diploma or equivalent Human Service certification (minimum two year diploma required)
  • You have demonstrated leadership ability and experience supporting persons with developmental and physical disabilities
  • CPI and behavioural experience mandatory
  • You have a sound knowledge of community resources
  • You are experienced in developing and implementing behavioural programs and lifestyle plans
  • You have excellent organizational and time management skills
  • You are a strong communicator, with excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • The ability to perform lifts and transfers as required by job duties is essential
  • Food Safety Basic or equivalent

Requirements:

  • Valid First Aid and CPR Certification
  • A current and clear Criminal Records Check Form and if applicable a Vulnerable Sector Check that has been obtained no more than 90 calendar days prior to the hire date.
  • A tuberculosis screening that has been completed no more than 12 months prior to the hire date.
