We are seeking a skilled Bookkeeper to join one of our clients in the agriculture industry on a part time basis. In this role, you will be responsible for managing financial records, ensuring accuracy in bookkeeping, and supporting our clients with their accounting needs. Your contributions will be vital to maintaining our reputation for excellence in the accounting industry.
Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate financial records and ensure timely data entry.
- Prepare and process payroll for employees in compliance with regulations.
- Perform account reconciliations to ensure accuracy of financial statements.
- Assist in budgeting processes and financial forecasting.
- Utilize accounting software such as QuickBooks and Sage for bookkeeping tasks.
- Conduct account analysis to identify discrepancies or areas for improvement.
- Full cycle bookkeeping including GST, AR, AP, and monthly reports.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Bookkeeper or in a similar role within an accounting environment.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
- Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks Online.
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently and meet deadlines.
This position is around 4- 8 hours per week.
