About the role
Commissionaires BC is currently looking for Security Supervisor to lead a team of security guards at a public building in Richmond.
Payrate: $25.58
Working hours:
- Mondays and Fridays 12pm till 8pm
Your 'Must Haves':
- BC Security Workers License.
- OFA 1
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with demonstrated experience in preparing security reports
- Proficient with MS Office and comfortable with using computers
- Previous supervisory experience
Job Duties:
- Provides excellent customer service by greeting customers, answering questions, and providing solutions by acting as a liaison between the site and the general public
- Interior and exterior patrols
- Access Control and visitor verification
- Investigating and reporting incidents promptly and accurately
- Maintain up-to-date Post Orders and Site Safety, Risk, and Quality Assurance assessments
- Submit reports, time sheets, and staff evaluations
- Oversee training and scheduling of Commissionaires
- Leading through empowerment, and monitoring staff morale, discipline, and progress
- Ensure team maintains a professional standard of conduct, dress and deportment
- Liaise with the client to ensure their instructions are carried out as per written policy
- Contacting management in situations not covered by Post Orders

Commissionaires provides security services for over 200 sites and are located in over 110 communities across the province. Our client base runs from the Federal Government to local municipalities, airports, industrial sectors, and commercial/residential buildings.

Commissionaires is a national not-for-profit organization that provides security services in 1,200 communities from coast-to-coast-to-coast.
