Position Overview
The Financial Operations Manager at LINQ Agency will be a critical, full-time team member responsible for managing and executing all financial functions of the organization. This individual will work closely with our corporate accounting partners at and report directly to the President & CEO . This is a strategic and hands-on role requiring meticulous attention to detail, financial foresight, and strong communication skills.
Job Responsibilities:
Core Financial Duties
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records using appropriate accounting software and tools.
- Oversee Accounts Receivable (AR) and Accounts Payable (AP) processes, including reconciliation and reporting.
- Manage invoicing for all clients and vendor-related billing.
- Conduct bank reconciliations , credit card reconciliations, and maintain petty cash records.
- Prepare and manage the general ledger and ensure all entries are accurate and properly categorized.
Reporting & Compliance
- Collaborate with corporate accounting partners to ensure timely month-end and year-end financial reporting, tax filings, and audits.
- Prepare internal monthly financial statements and executive dashboards for the CEO.
- Ensure compliance with government regulations, tax filings (HST, corporate tax, etc.), and best accounting practices.
Cashflow Management & Forecasting
- Monitor and report cash flow position on a weekly and monthly basis.
- Develop and maintain cash flow forecasts , identifying potential risks and funding requirements.
- Contribute strategic insights for optimizing working capital and funding decisions.
Strategic Input & Planning
- Provide financial insight and support to the CEO and executive team on budget development and business growth strategy.
- Participate in quarterly planning and annual budgeting processes. Analyze historical data to provide forward-thinking recommendations.
Tools & Systems Oversight
- Manage and optimize the use of accounting software's and Microsoft Excel/Google Sheets for financial tracking and modeling.
- Suggest and implement improvements in financial systems and processes.
Payroll & HR Integration
- Support payroll and ensure compliance with relevant legislation.
- Handle deductions, benefits, reimbursements, and year-end T4s or ROEs.
- Liaise with HR for onboarding/offboarding payroll impact.
Other Responsibilities
- Maintain organized and up-to-date financial filing systems (digital and physical).
- Serve as a point of contact for financial questions from internal teams and external stakeholders.
- Support ad-hoc financial projects and strategic initiatives as requested by the President & CEO.

Qualifications:
- Typically 1–3 years experience in finance, accounting, or related analytical roles
- Experience with financial modeling, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting
- Familiarity with financial software and tools
- Familiarity with Rippling (HRIS system) and QuickBooks is preferred
- Completion of or working towards a financial/accounting designation (e.g. CPA, CFA or MBA) is an asset
