About The Team
The Portfolio Management team supports the Real Estate group in ensuring timely access to accurate and relevant data to support investment decisions and provide governance of business and operational processes. This includes reporting production and oversight of the inventory of systems, documents and databases.
About Your Role
As an Intern, Portfolio Management, Real Estate Investments you will:
- Assist the Portfolio Management team with tasks related to new technological projects and ongoing data management activities for various systems, databases, and processes as needed, including data reconciliation and preparing import templates
- Support the supply of data or documentation upon request for internal or external reporting, ensuring the accuracy of portfolio data
- Help the team keep track of significant decisions by regularly synthesising and summarising approvals
- Support the Portfolio Management team with the planning and execution of activities such as preparing financial and operational reporting, recurring due diligence requests and maintenance of investment data in the deal database
What You’ll Need
- Undergraduate degree in business, administration, technology; or equivalent
- Strong organizational and coordination skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to manage several tasks at one time
- Ability to communicate professionally in English and French
- Knowledge of business software programs including Microsoft Office
- Experience with SQL, an asset
- Comfortable working with web-based applications
- Supportive team player
- Knowledge of institutional Real Estate Investments or IT projects, an asset
- Good communications skills in English and French (or willingness to learn) (Regular interactions in English with investment partners based outside of Quebec Example: peers, bankers, brokerage firms, etc. and PSP employees in our offices in Hong Kong, London and New York, and interactions in French with employees in our local offices in Montreal and Ottawa)
- Candidates must have the right to work in Canada* for the period specified to be considered for this position. No support to obtain the right to work will be provided
- *Options include Canadian citizenship, permanent residency or a valid open work permit
