P-Tech / Sales:

Majestic metals is a locally owned and operated business in St. John’s. We are seeking an individual who has graduated with a professional technologist distinction. Previous work in the related field of studies as well as prior sales experience would be an asset.

Duties:

• Working with customers supplied drawings to complete accurate and detailed take offs for metal related products

-Provide exceptional customer service to all clients

• Assist customers in finding and selecting products that meet their needs

• Utilize effective sales techniques to upsell and maximize sales opportunities

• Communicate product features, benefits, and pricing information to customers

• Maintain a clean and organized sales floor

Skills:

• Strong working knowledge of blueprints and the ability to complete an accurate material list

-Strong sales skills with the ability to close deals effectively

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills as well as computer skills

• Time management skills to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines

• Knowledge of the construction industry would be an asset
