Job Details
Description Key Responsibilities:
- Content Management: Maintain and update the Ontario Shores’ corporate website as it relates to content, document management, graphics, layout and navigation. Run weekly scripts to update intranet for data currency.
- Intranet Administration: Maintain the hospital SharePoint intranet including content, sites, lists and libraries, design, forms and workflows.
- Digital Publishing: Support the Communications and Public Affairs team with the posting of news, blogs and events.
- Collaboration: Collaborate with hospital staff and stakeholders to understand their needs and translate them into engaging digital web experiences.
- Technical Support and Validation: Work with the IT department to validate proper functionality of Intranet after software patches. Troubleshoot technical issues with website and intranet and work to resolve incidents. Provision granular access on the website and intranet to sites, libraries and documents.
- Performance Reporting: Produce monthly metrics reports and conduct analysis on website and intranet performance indicators.
- User Guidance: Support and provide guidance to other hospital staff updating their SharePoint sites.
- General Support: Assist the team with additional tasks and event setup as needed.
Skills And Qualifications
- Experience: Dedicated experience associated with the performance of these functions such as courses, certifications, education, programs, and professional work experience
- Design, UX and Web Standards: Proven graphic design ability and experience in designing intuitive user interfaces and user experiences. Familiarity with web usability and accessibility practices, including prototyping and user testing.
- Writing: Familiarity with effective writing practices for the web. Writing skills an asset.
- Technical Proficiency:
- HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, Adobe Acrobat), Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Drupal 10 (or other enterprise Content Management Systems).
- C#, ASP.Net, PHP, and Powershell, Google Analytics, SharePoint workflows.
- Experience with M365 an asset.
- Analytical Skills: Ability to write web traffic reports and updates for publication. Demonstrated ability to find the best approach or solution to highly diverse challenges and have the ability to adapt and manage changing priorities. Strong logical thinking skills and understand the importance of documentation and best practices.
- Project Management: Agile and flexible approach to development and project management.
- Soft Skills: Strong organizational, time management, prioritization, problem-solving, and conflict resolution skills. Ability to develop productive relationships with a diverse group of content experts.
