We are seeking a DataStage ETL Developer to support enterprise data integration initiatives and deliver high-performance ETL solutions. This role requires advanced proficiency in IBM InfoSphere DataStage, strong SQL/UNIX skills, and hands-on experience with data warehousing concepts. You will be responsible for developing, optimizing, and maintaining ETL pipelines that ensure data quality, reliability, and performance across diverse data sources.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain ETL jobs using IBM InfoSphere DataStage 11.5/11.7.
- Integrate and transform data from multiple sources such as Oracle, Excel, and flat files into staging and target systems.
- Build robust sequence jobs using components like Job Activity, Wait for File, Exception Handler, Sequencer, and more.
- Perform troubleshooting and performance tuning of DataStage jobs to ensure efficient processing.
- Participate in code reviews, documentation, and deployment processes aligned with SDLC best practices.
- Collaborate with onshore and offshore teams for seamless delivery and knowledge sharing.
- Engage in business meetings and translate requirements into scalable ETL designs.
Technical Profile:
- IBM InfoSphere DataStage (11.5/11.7)
- SQL (Oracle or similar RDBMS)
- UNIX shell scripting and commands
- Experience with ETL performance tuning and job monitoring
- Understanding of data warehousing and data modeling concepts
Functional Profile:
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to work in a hybrid onsite-offshore delivery model
- Experience with client-facing discussions and technical walkthroughs
- Exposure to the Wealth Management domain (preferred)
- Familiarity with structured SDLC and documentation practices

Note: Face-to-face interview and background check are mandatory. This role is hybrid in Toronto (3 days onsite, moving to 4 starting September). The pay range that the employer in good faith reasonably expects to pay for this position is $32.39/hour - $50.61/hour. Our benefits include medical, dental, vision and retirement benefits.
