Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards.
- Ensure all food is prepared in a timely manner while maintaining quality and presentation.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including equipment and utensils.
- Follow food safety guidelines to ensure the health and safety of all guests.
- Assist with inventory management, including ordering supplies as needed.
- Collaborate with team members to create a cohesive dining experience for guests.
- Provide excellent guest services by accommodating special dietary requests when possible.
- Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, adhering to all safety protocols.
Requirements
- Previous experience in the food industry or restaurant environment is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques and food safety standards.
- Basic math skills for measuring ingredients and managing portion sizes.
- Familiarity with Point of Sale (POS) systems is a plus.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to interact positively with guests.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- A passion for cooking and a willingness to learn new techniques and recipes.
