About the role

The Opportunity

TIPI Group of Companies is seeking a Strategic Communications Manager to lead and shape the corporate communications and marketing efforts across the organization. Reporting to the COO, this role will oversee all aspects of branding, digital media, stakeholder engagement, and marketing strategy. The ideal candidate is both a strategic thinker and hands-on executor, with a passion for aligning organizational goals with audience engagement.

This role will guide the company’s public presence, lead the Communications team, and manage multi-channel campaigns. You will play a pivotal role in enhancing both internal and external communication and ensuring TIPI Group’s voice and image align with its mission and values.

Job Duties and Tasks

  • Lead the development and execution of TIPI’s annual marketing and communications strategies.
  • Drive digital media strategy, including SEO-driven campaigns, and ensure TIPI's website reflects brand standards.
  • Oversee marketing activities across multiple channels: traditional media, social media, email marketing, PPC, and website content.
  • Manage corporate communications, including press releases, reports, internal communications, and public relations efforts.
  • Ensure brand consistency across all platforms and entities within TIPI Group.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop the Communications team, fostering innovation and high performance.

Your Skills

  • Expertise in leading communication strategies that align with corporate goals.
  • Strong understanding of branding, visual identity, and messaging frameworks.
  • Knowledge of SEO, SEM, PPC, social media engagement, and web analytics.
  • Proven ability to manage cross-functional teams and external partners to drive results.
  • Experience handling media requests, press releases, and crisis communications.
  • Skilled at managing multiple projects and stakeholders simultaneously.

Your Ideal Qualifications

  • Post-secondary education in Communications, Marketing, Public Relations, or a related field, with 5–7 years of progressive experience in corporate communications or marketing strategy.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead brand and marketing strategies across multiple entities, manage digital campaigns, and provide executive level advisory support.
  • Strong understanding of public relations, shareholder communications, and a familiarity with Indigenous communities or values-based organizations is an asset.
