AltaGas - Manager, Identity and Access Management
Reporting to the CISO, you will be a key contributor to supporting IAM efforts across our Plan, Build, Run, Protect delivery model. You will develop and maintain strong partnerships with your peers, leaders, and business stakeholders, working collaboratively to align our IAM activities with broader team initiatives, ensuring consistent successful outcomes across the enterprise.
You will:
- Lead AltaGas’ enterprise IAM program, building and maintaining our Identity roadmap
- Manage direct and indirect reports (employees and contractors) and managed service providers, contracts, escalations, SLAs, and perform quarterly service reviews
- Ensure our IAM solutions meet regulatory and compliance requirements, including identity clean-up, and other security measures, and work to automate enforcement of applicable requirements, ensuring AltaGas is ‘audit ready’ for IAM
- Act as liaison with key business stakeholders and senior leadership to understand Identity requirements and work with Identity SMEs to translate into automation tooling for key processes such as user onboarding/offboarding
- Oversee management and data maintenance for our IAM tools (SailPoint, etc), working with stakeholders to enhance automation and enhance user experience
- Writing/drafting Identity strategies, policies, standards, and procedures, and streamline enterprise user experience with Identity
- Work to enforce key controls around best practices such as MFA, Least Privilege, PAM, PIM, checks & balances
- Conduct continuous improvement efforts on IAM initiatives and programs balancing security requirements and customer experience
- Provide transparency on program performance through Dashboards, Metrics, and KPIs
You have:
- 5+ years experience in the Identity and Access Management space
- Experience with Microsoft Identity Solutions (e.g. EntraID, PIM, PAM, Authenticator)
- Experience with Identity & Access solutions such as SailPoint
- Experience designing processes and solutions that meet regulatory requirements and security best practices
- Very strong customer skills, able to deliver secure solutions that are effective yet are as seamless to the user as possible.
- Experience leading IAM efforts in complex enterprise projects
- Effectively communicate complex information both verbally and in writing to various stakeholders
- Build relationships with operations teams, project teams, and leadership across the organization to influence change and drive adherence to an aligned strategy, policies, standards and processes.
- Experience managing third-party security service providers in the delivery of cybersecurity
