This role offers the opportunity to join an agile, international team during a pivotal period in DevOps, focusing on advanced platform services, container orchestration, and CI/CD automation. The successful candidate will collaborate with dedicated teams to drive innovation and support business growth through the implementation of cutting-edge technologies, fostering operational excellence and exceptional client experiences. This role is hybrid role based in Toronto, ON.
Senior Platform Engineer
We will count on you to:
- Automate, write code, and build pipelines, working closely with Software Engineering teams to automate deployments and integrations to PaaS services.
- Act as a subject matter expert for senior leadership, project managers, and engineering teams, guiding strategic and tactical solutions for self-service, automated cloud, and container-based environments.
- Deploy and support Kubernetes and related technology stacks, ensuring high availability and performance.
- Engineer and implement new technology solutions across on-premises and public cloud environments.
- Maintain an in-depth understanding of cloud-native technologies to support evolving business initiatives.
- Participate in on-call support to provide 24/7 service delivery.
What you need to have:
- Subject matter expertise in Kubernetes and at least one of the following: JFrog Artifactory, HashiCorp Vault, Tigera Calico Enterprise, AWS EKS, Azure AKS.
- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, GCP, or OCI, including development and architecture.
- Proficiency with REST APIs, infrastructure as code tools like Terraform, Crossplane and scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or Go.
- Knowledge of web, security, and networking protocols, along with public cloud solution architecture.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines, GitOps, Docker, Linux, Windows, and container orchestration.
