We are searching for an experienced Gestionnaire régional Santé, Sécurité et Environnement (SSE) at our Quebec - Longueuil, QC 908 facility.

We Hiring: Regional Manager, Health, Safety and Environment (HSE)

📍Location: Longueuil, Quebec (Longueuil) required (more than 50%)

🕒 Status: Full-time | 🌐 Bilingualism Required (French/English – Priority French)

About The Position You are passionate about creating a culture focused on safety and welfare? This strategic role will enable you to drive HSE initiatives at across our Canadian sites, working closely with the management and local teams to build a strong and sustainable culture in health and safety.

Responsibilities Main Align HSE strategies with business

objectives Lead compliance change management initiatives, and Innovation

Frame and train multidisciplinary teams on HSE

best practices Manage OHS training programs (e.g., emergency plans, lockout, hazard communication)

Implement prevention programs to reduce incidents and improve Reporting near-misses

Investigate on incidents, determine root causes, and ensure corrective

actions Follow Performance indicators (KPIs) and ensure continuous

improvement Establish Strong relationships at all levels, from employees to leaders

Ensure compliance with provincial and federal health regulations, and Workplace

Safety Promote sharing knowledge and best practices across teams

About The Role Are you passionate about building a culture of safety and care? In this role, you'll lead health, safety, and environmental initiatives across Canada. You'll work closely with leadership and site teams to align strategies, coach teams, and continuously improve safety outcomes.

What You'll Do Align HSE strategies with company goals across 9 Canadian facilities

Drive change management initiatives to support compliance and innovation

Coach and mentor cross-functional teams on HSE best practices

Lead and manage WHS training programs (e.g., Emergency Action, Lockout/Tagout)

Develop incident prevention programs and enhance near-miss reporting

Investigate incidents, identify root causes, and lead corrective actions

Track performance via KPIs and champion continuous improvement

Build strong relationships at all levels, from frontline to leadership

Ensure compliance with all applicable Canadian OH&S regulations

Desired profile Diploma in health and safety, environment, chemistry or Related (or equivalent 7+ years of experience)

Minimum 5 years of OHS experience in Canada, ideally in the distribution or services

Excellent Knowledge of health and safety regulations in Canada

Experience OHS training, policy development and regulatory

compliance Excellent Communication, Leadership and Coaching

Skills Available for frequent travel (>50%)

Mastery French required; bilingualism (French-English) strongly desired

What You Bring Bachelor's degree in Safety, Environmental Science, Chemistry, or related field (or 7+ years equivalent experience)

5+ years' experience in Canadian OH&S, ideally in distribution or service settings

Strong knowledge of federal and provincial safety regulations

Experience with training, policy development, and compliance programs

Excellent communicator, advisor, and coach

Ability to travel >50% within Canada
