Your Impact
- Streamline onboarding and orientation, ensuring new hires become productive and engaged quickly.
- Respond to business requests efficiently with rapid document turnaround.
- Launch a Customer Experience (CX) training program that directly boosts customer satisfaction scores.
- Independently resolve 75% of HR inquiries, escalating outcomes rather than issues.
- Automate routine HR tasks using Google Workspace and thoughtfully implemented AI tools.
Core Responsibilities
- Draft clear and legally employee documents: employment offers, compensation adjustments, disciplinary notices, and terminations.
- Maintain OMVIC individual and store registrations and compliance programs.
- Own end-to-end onboarding, orientation, and ongoing employee satisfaction tracking.
- Coordinate recruitment via TalentNest (posting jobs, screening resumes, scheduling interviews).
- Administer Health & Safety programs, including monthly inspections, compliance logs, and WSIB communications.
- Regularly track and report HR performance metrics.
Must-Have What We're Looking For:
- 3–5 years HR Generalist experience (preferably multi-site, automotive, retail, or similar dynamic industry).
- Proven drafting skills for clear, legally coherent HR documentation.
- Confidence managing employee discipline and terminations.
- Demonstrated critical-thinking in effectively using AI tools.
- High-agency mindset: proactively identifies issues and executes solutions independently.
Nice-to-Have
- Familiarity with Ontario Health & Safety program administration.
- Experience with TalentNest or similar ATS.
- Previous automotive dealership or retail-industry experience.
Your Growth Path
- Months 0-3: Master daily HR functions: onboarding & orientation, HR documentation, recruitment, and H&S compliance.
- Months 4-12: Implement CX training, achieve SLA targets, automate manual tasks.
- Month 12: Promotion review for HR Manager role.

Compensation & Benefits
- Salary: CAD $52,000–$69,000 (based on experience)
