We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Shift Manager to oversee daily operations in our restaurant. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a passion for the food industry. As a Shift Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring exceptional service, managing staff, and maintaining high standards of food quality and safety.

Duties

• Supervise daily restaurant operations, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Lead, train, and motivate team members to deliver outstanding customer service.
• Manage kitchen activities, including food preparation and presentation.
• Conduct interviews and assist in the hiring process for new staff.
• Oversee inventory management and ordering of supplies as needed.
• Handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues that may arise during shifts.
• Collaborate with upper management to implement operational improvements.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the restaurant environment.

Requirements

• Previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment is essential.
• Strong team management skills with the ability to lead by example.
• Knowledge of food handling and safety regulations is required.
• Experience in supervising staff and conducting interviews is preferred.
• Familiarity with kitchen operations, including food preparation techniques.
• Excellent communication skills and a customer-focused attitude.
• Bartending experience is a plus but not mandatory.
