Position Summary:

The Hill Levene Schools of Business at the University of Regina invite applications for a full-time 12-month position as a Lecturer in finance and accounting. The anticipated start date is August 1, 2025. The teaching load for this position will be eight classes between August 1, 2025 and July 31, 2026.

Teaching responsibilities would include both the introductory and senior levels and the successful applicant’s teaching assignment will be determined based on their subject matter expertise and their areas of interest. Examples of available courses are:
BUS 285: Introduction to Financial Accounting;
BUS 288: Introduction to Managerial Accounting;
BUS 290: Introduction to Finance;
BUS 384: Introduction to Taxation;
BUS 386: Auditing Theory and Application;
BUS 388: Cost Accounting;
BUS 395: Finance Theory and Application;
BUS 484: Advanced Taxation;
BUS 493: Security Analysis;
BUS 495: Financial Analysis and Decision Making;
and BUS 498: Capital Markets and Financial Institutions.

Position Requirements:

To be considered for this position, candidates must hold a degree in business, together with a Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) designation and/ or a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation. Candidates should demonstrate strong teaching potential, and a track record of effective post-secondary teaching would be considered an asset. Please specify which courses you can teach.
