About the role
Who you are
- 2+ years of operations, customer service or account management experience, preferably in a tech or service-oriented industry
- Comfortable with proactive outreach and starting relationships from scratch
- With a background in support, you are adept at managing trade expectations and ensuring their needs are met with exceptional service
- Confident delivering training and explaining tools or processes to new trades
- You are flexible, able to handle the dynamic challenges of a marketplace environment, and committed to long-term trade success
- Organized and adaptable, capable of managing multiple priorities and adjusting quickly when needed
- Experience as a service technician, or working with service technicians is a valuable asset, providing a solid foundation for understanding trade dynamics within these sectors
- Experiencing working in technology marketplaces is a valuable asset
- A self-starter: You wake up, form a plan, and get going!

What the job involves
- ResQ is looking for a Trade Operations Associate to join our dynamic team and help build a thriving trade network that powers our marketplace
- This role is perfect for someone who thrives on relationship-building, loves the challenge of proactive outreach, and takes pride in turning first conversations into long-term partnerships
- As part of the operations team, you’ll be responsible for identifying, engaging, onboarding, and managing trades to ensure they are set up for success on the ResQ platform
- From the first outreach to hands-on training and long-term relationship management, you'll be the connector that helps great service providers grow their business with ResQ

- Trade Acquisition 📞: Own the process of identifying, sourcing, and engaging new trades to join the ResQ platform
- You'll make outbound contact, initiate conversations, and pitch ResQ as a valuable partner for their business
- Onboarding & Training 📚: Guide new trades through the onboarding process–from initial signup through their first few work orders
- Deliver clear and engaging training sessions to ensure they’re set up for success and aligned with ResQ standards
- Preventative Maintenance Program Setup & Quoting💰: Own the quoting, setup, and ongoing management of preventative maintenance programs across our trade base
- This includes coordinating with both trades and internal teams to ensure programs are built to drive long-term revenue and reduce reactive work
- Trade Support & Problem Solving 💬: Develop strong, long-term relationships with both new and existing trades
- Quickly and effectively resolve trade issues, advocate for improvements, and provide insights to help optimize the ResQ platform
- Data-Driven Performance Management 📈: Track trade performance, service activity, and growth metrics
- Use data to make smart decisions, identify gaps, and prioritize outreach to optimize performance
