Salary Range**:** $9,515 - $12,367 Monthly
Grade**:** MCP.09.
Reporting to the Executive Director, Income Assistance Service Delivery, this position is accountable for the redesign of Income Assistance programs and services. Specifically, this position is responsible for:
- Leading the design, development and planning for implementation of major projects to reconfigure income assistance programs and benefits that impact as much as $500M of annual program expenditures and 110,000 income assistance clients;
- Developing project plans and leading the development and implementation of governance documents including a vision, principles, objectives/outcomes and priorities, as well as specific actions, targets and measures;
- Identifying and assessing the issues, challenges and possibilities for future programs and services, and developing mitigation strategies;
- Supporting the Ministry governance structure and providing regular progress reports to update executive management on the status of the overall redesign;
- Identifying and securing the necessary investments and potential partnerships that will ensure significant changes to support the clients we serve: and
- Ensuring multiple channels and multiple opportunities for consultation (advisory teams including external stakeholders such as the SAID Program Implementation Advisory Team, public consultations and one-on-one stakeholder meetings).
