Job Summary
We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Counter Staff to join our team in a fast-paced restaurant environment. As a key member of our front-line service, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, assisting with food preparation, and ensuring a positive dining experience for our guests. Your role will involve cash handling and cashiering duties, as well as upselling menu items to enhance customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers warmly and provide them with menu information.
• Take customer orders accurately and efficiently.
• Handle cash transactions and maintain accurate cash registers.
• Assist in food preparation and ensure food safety standards are met.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the counter area.
• Upsell additional menu items to enhance the customer experience.
• Address customer inquiries and resolve any issues promptly.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely order fulfillment.

Requirements

• Previous experience in the restaurant or food service industry is preferred.
• Strong customer service skills with a friendly demeanor.
• Ability to handle cash transactions accurately and responsibly.
• Basic knowledge of food preparation techniques is a plus.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a team environment.
• Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced setting.
• Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $16.55-$23.28 per hour

Expected hours: 5 – 15 per week
