Title: Manager, Remediation & Reclamation

H3M Environmental Ltd. is growing – and we’re seeking an experienced, forward-thinking Manager to lead our remediation and reclamation team. As the Manager, Remediation & Reclamation you will oversee the full lifecycle of environmental services including:

Role and Responsibilities: Duties include, but are not limited to:

• Team Leadership: Provide overarching direction and guidance to multidisciplinary teams by establishing a clear strategic vision, empowering individuals, and cultivating a collaborative, mentorship-driven culture that supports continuous growth and long-term success.

• Project Oversight: Lead the planning, coordination, and delivery of remediation and reclamation projects across various client portfolios, ensuring execution aligns with company standards and strategic goals.

• Strategic Development: Support the design and implementation of comprehensive frameworks for project execution—including scope definition, scheduling, budget planning, resource allocation, risk mitigation, and stakeholder engagement.

• Client & Stakeholder Relations: Act as the cornerstone of trust and communication – building strong partnerships with clients, regulators, and internal teams throughout the lifecycle of each project.

• Regulatory Compliance: Oversee environmental compliance efforts, ensuring consistent adherence to applicable federal and provincial regulations and industry standards.

• Risk Management: Evaluate potential risks and proactively implement mitigation strategies to maintain timelines, budgets, and deliverables.

• Industry Influence: Represent H3M and our clients in industry working groups and strategic discussions - helping shape best practices and advancing sustainable progress.

Qualifications and skill:

Experience and Education

• A Bachelor’s degree or technical diploma relevant environmental sciences, engineering or project management.

• 10 + years experience in the environmental consulting or upstream oil and gas industry.

• Broad knowledge and experience with the upstream oil and gas industry and environmental regulatory requirements

• Professional designation is considered an asset (P.Eng, P.Geo, P.Ag or P.Biol)

Technical & Leadership Skills

• Proven ability to lead, inspire and manage interdisciplinary teams.

• Strong command of project controls – budgeting, scope, scheduling, QA/QC

• Top-tier written and verbal communication skills.

• Skilled in balancing independent initiative with team collaboration.

• Conflict resolution and negotiation capabilities that create forward momentum.
