As part of our Governance, Risk and Compliance Services (GRCS) team, you will support organizations in enhancing the efficiency and effectiveness of their internal audit functions, enterprise risk management programs, third-party relationships, regulatory compliance, governance, and sustainability initiatives. You will contribute to the analysis of business strategies, processes, and systems to help clients understand their risks and identify opportunities for improvement. Working under the guidance of experienced team members, you will assist in the execution of governance, risk, and control engagements for Financial Services clients.
What You Will Do
- Support the execution of governance, risk, and compliance engagements
- Assist in conducting interviews and documenting client processes
- Perform testing activities and summarize findings
- Contribute to the preparation of client deliverables
- Collaborate with team members to meet project goals and timelines
- Participate in internal meetings and knowledge-sharing sessions
- Help identify areas for process improvement and risk mitigation
- Engage in professional development and on-the-job learning
What You Bring To The Role
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or a related field
- 1 to 3 years of experience in internal audit, compliance, or risk management
- Exposure to Financial Services such as banking, insurance, or fintech
- Familiarity with Canadian Financial Services regulations is an asset
- Experience or interest in anti-money laundering is preferred
- Strong analytical and organizational skills
- Effective written and verbal communication abilities
- Willingness to learn and adapt in a dynamic environment
